Executive Search & Recruitment Case Study:
Client: An international multi-billion Real Estate Investment Company
Objective: Capital Executive Solutions was asked to fill a Chief Executive Officer role in Cairo, Egypt. The searches were critical in regard to urgency and the impact the roles had on the client's business. The CEO would be spearheading a project value in excess of four billion dollars (one of the larger international projects that our client was involved in. The client had not previously done any business in Egypt before and was hence unfamiliar with the market and hesitant to put the wrong man or woman on such a large scale and strategic project.
Process: Capital Executive Solutions conducted a thorough search for candidates across the Middle East who had the necessary mix of knowledge and contacts in Real Estate in Egypt. Our focus was on candidates who were not necessarily actively seeking new jobs and who were making significant contributions to their companies. We contacted and interviewed more than 50 candidates for each search in an effort to thoroughly screen the candidates for skill level, culture and leadership fit.
Results: The search resulted in Capital Executive Solutions finding candidates from the client's direct competitors who were performing similar responsibilities and ready for a new challenge. Feedback from the client showed that the candidate added tremendous value to his new roles in a very short amount of time. The client was particularly pleased with our search method, the way in which our team kept them informed throughout the process, the speed in which we executed and the quality of the selected candidates. Through follow-up with the candidate, we learned that the candidate is extremely pleased with his new position.
